Plain-language summary. We collect your account info, the questions you ask, and basic usage/technical data to run Lumen. We do not sell your personal data. You can request a copy or deletion of your data. The Local Agent keeps your files on your machine.

1. Who we are

Lumen is operated by Elite AI Empire ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we process and why. Contact: privacy@eliteaiempire.com.

2. Data we collect

Account data — your email address and authentication identifiers when you sign in.
Query & content data — the questions, prompts, uploaded images, and files you submit, and the answers generated, plus conversation threads tied to your account.
Usage & technical data — request counts, timestamps, tier, model selected, IP address (used for rate-limiting and abuse prevention), and basic diagnostic logs.
Billing data — subscription tier and payment status. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.
Connector data — if you connect a third-party account, the access tokens needed to operate that connector (stored encrypted) and the data the connector retrieves for your request.

3. How we use data

To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service and answer your queries.
To enforce rate limits, detect abuse, and run safety moderation.
To process payments and metered API billing.
To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to serve you third-party advertising.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we process data on the bases of: contract (to provide the Service you request), legitimate interests (security, abuse-prevention, service improvement), legal obligation, and consent (where you opt into a connector or the Local Agent).

5. AI processing and sub-processors

To answer a query, your prompt and relevant context are sent to third-party AI model providers and a search backend listed in our Subprocessors page. We send the minimum needed to fulfil the request. Free-tier model providers may process queries under their own terms; we do not send them your account identity beyond what the request requires.

6. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Query threads are retained so you can revisit your history; you may delete threads, and you may request full deletion (Section 9). Diagnostic logs and rate-limit data are kept for a short period (typically up to 30 days) and then expire. Blocked-by-safety answers are not cached.

7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your location you have the right to access, correct, delete, export (portability), object to, or restrict processing of your personal data, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. California residents have the right to know what we collect and to opt out of "sale"/"sharing" — we do not sell or share personal data as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA.

8. The Local Agent and your files

If you choose to run the Lumen Local Agent, the files in the folder you select stay on your machine. The Local Agent makes outbound requests to Lumen and returns only the specific file content needed to fulfil a job you triggered. Lumen never connects into your machine and never receives files outside the folder you shared. Stop the agent and local access ends immediately.

9. Data access and deletion requests

To request a copy of your data or to delete your account and associated data, email privacy@eliteaiempire.com from your account email address, or use the Delete my data control on your Account page. We will verify your identity and respond within the period required by applicable law (generally 30 days). Deletion removes your account, threads, and stored connector tokens; some records may be retained where law requires.

10. Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, encryption at rest for connector tokens, and a sandboxed, host-isolated execution environment. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International transfers & children

Data may be processed in countries other than yours, including where our sub-processors operate. Lumen is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
